  • History
    The temple at Maringa was founded in 1974 and its missiorary work reachs out the entire state of Parana. The Wajunkai Nursing Home, located at the same place, shelters Japanese immigrants who ended up with no families, and it is supported by the nikkey community statewide. The main hall was built in 1983 and is considered a landmark of the Japanese presence in the region.
